17 Months
Before I start, I have to apologize for the picture, I have been trying to learn my new camera and all the pictures I have been taking are terrible...which is hard to do with such an adorable subject. She moves quickly now and I just can't make my adjustments fast enough.

Okay on to the goods, Casey is now 17 months and weighs 21lbs 8oz putting her in only the 18th percentile. She is up in the 63rd percentile for height at 31.5 inches and she has a big head like Paul and I do measuring in the 72nd percentile (lots of brains in there). She is still only has a few words that she says but I can tell she is trying to communicate more and more. She understands so much now she will let me know when she has a dirty diaper by going to her diapers and pointing or let me know she wants to eat by standing in front of her high chair and pointing up. She has learned to shake her head for no which at first was cute and funny but now it seems to be the answer to every question.
Casey is my busy body, she always wants to be on the move. She gets bored being in the house for too long but watch out when you let her outside because she wants to go where she wants to go and nobody is going to tell her otherwise. She constantly keeps me on my toes but I love every minute of it.

Sharing a Snack with a Friend
Monday Casey met up with Cory and Nina at the Quail Gardens and although there are lots of things for little kids to play with my cutest pictures of Casey were of her sharing a snack with Nina. Casey was more interested in running back and forth and trying to get away from me than anything else.

Cory and Nina had a lot of fun playing in the tree house and the running water.

This was the closest Casey got to the water even though it felt like it was 100 degrees out.
