Disneyland

We decided a while ago that we wanted to take Casey to Disneyland for her birthday this year.  Our original plan was to go this past Thursday but when we watched the weather report Wednesday morning it called for a 90% chance of rain on Thursday so we made a split decision to go right then and try and beat the rain.  We weren't going to take AJ on this trip but with the change in plans we lost our babysitter but I am so glad we took him.  Both kids had a great time and they were so good...even with no naps.  It was so much fun to see Disneyland through the eyes of my babies...best Disneyland trip ever.

Bedtime Games

Anthony loves playing peek-a-boo with daddy on his way up to bed, so the other day we all got in on the game.

Lunch time

Anthony is becoming such a big boy. He now enjoys sitting at the little table with Casey and can get in the chair all by himself so I decided to let them have lunch there.

Trick or Treat

Trick or treating was so much fun this year however the kids were so excited once we put their costumes on that getting them to pose for pictures was virtually impossible. We went with some friends in the neighborhood, Casey did great ringing doorbells. She did get a little confused on when to say thank you and when to say trick or treat. AJ let me carry him to the first few houses but then he wanted in on the action so I let him walk and he did great walking to each house and picking out candy. He got tripped up a few times but his costume provided great padding to cushion his falls.

4S Ranch Splash Park

I have a friend who smuggled us into the the 4S Ranch gated splash park.  Right next to the water zone there is quite an impressive jungle gym which is where Casey decided to spend ost of her time...going down the brown slide.  Talk about mommy heart attack.

Jungle Casey

11 months

11 months and Anthony is still my little peanut. He is still very tiny which has become increasingly apparent now that we have new neighbors who have a baby only a month older than him and looks like a monster compared to my little guy. This month Anthony crossed a huge milestone...he is now a walker. On July 13th, in fron of Cheyne and her friend, Paul, Casey, and me (the kid loves an audience) he took his first unsupported steps...does this make him a toddler? In addition to his steps he is adding more teeth ahhhhh. This time he has developed a little blister over one that looks so painful so needless to say I haven't had much sleep but that is nothing new:)
