6 Months

This past month has been chalked full of new developments in the life of Mr. Anthony James. We started out by kicking him out of our bed cold turkey and it was probably the best decision I could have made. It wasn't easy and he was not very happy about it but I feel like he is a much happier baby in general now because he is sleeping so much better, not only at night but for naps as well....oh yeah no more swing either. I didn't know that I could live without the swing but honestly it has been easier without it. I feel like I am more in tune with his needs and that has also helped. Anthony has also popped his first two teeth on the bottom and is now working on the top. He is enjoying lots of tummy time and can turn himself all around and has started scooting himself backwards.

We went to the doctor on Monday and he is still my tall skinny guy at 15lbs 2oz (12th percentile) and 26.5 inches (56th percentile). Hopefully introducing solids into his diet will help him put on some weight and we can get rid of night feedings altogether (ha).

Gardening

Casey loves helping Bopbop work in the garden.

Eating Cereal

Last night at dinner Paul asked me if he could feed Anthony refried beans, I of course said absolutely not...Paul has been chopping at the bit to get AJ eating solids so I made some rice cereal for him. Anthony did great (much better than Casey did with her first solids). He went straight for it and made almost no mess at all, please let me have one good eater.

Valentine's Day

Casey and I decided to spend Valentine's Day making a little treat for Daddy. A friend of mine turned me on to this super cute and fun Valentine cookie creation. It was fun and easy enough for Casey to take part in and she had so much fun. The cookies turned out adorable and Daddy loved them...I should have taken a picture of the finished work oops.

Super Bowl Treats

Super Bowl Sunday Casey got all dressed up in her sporty best and got to partake in some Super Bowl treats and to wash down all the chips and guacamole her dad bought her her first slurpee. She loved it.

Yes that is guac all over her face.
