Beach Day

A while ago Paul and bought Casey her first set of beach toys and with the warm up in the weather we finally got a chance to break them out. Casey had lots of fun digging in the sand...I can't wait for summer.

15 months, where did the last 2 months go?

Casey has been a lot of fun in the last 2 months, she is learning and growing so much everyday. She has started saying her first real words and they are not mommy or daddy, she says doggy, Jakey, and up....I guess I know what is most important to her. In the past 2 months she has gotten all 4 of her eye teeth, ouch, and she has seemed to develop a whole lot of attitude, she is a girl that knows what she wants. Feeding her has gotten a bit more challenging as she doesn't seem that excited about baby food anymore and she has not yet really taken to adult food. She loves crackers, cheese, yogurt, and fruit. What Casey loves most is being outside, she gives me a workout chasing her all around. We have been spending lots of time outside at the softball fields, running around on the green belt behind the house, gardening in Grammy and Grampy's backyard, we have even gone the beach and to Poway Lake to feed the ducks (those ducks are crazy, they will peck your fingers off if you are not careful). Casey has gotten more adventurous and daring which lead to her first skinned knee a but it didn't stop her from running around like a crazy baby. I just love watching her grow up!

Two is Defintely Better than One

Casey is no dummy when it comes to cookies, she has learned that if she looks cute she can get basically whatever she wants. The other day she decided that although one cookie is good 2 are definitely better.

Wild Animal Park with Grammy

I finally took advantage of my Wild Animal Park season pass I purchased last April and went on my 2nd trip to the park with Casey and Grammy. I think Casey had a lot of fun this time, she just loves being outside. She especially liked the ducks and the petting zoo...however I was a little scared in the petting zoo. Casey yelled at the animals the same way she yells at our dogs and I wasn't sure how that was going to go over with them but they just layed there and did nothing....I guess the park knows what they are doing and I should stop being a crazy lady.

My Cutie at 13 months

Since I haven't been blogging I have a little catch up to do. These are pictures from January 14th, the day my little Casers turned 13 months. When Casey turned 1 year she hit a big development milestone, she starting walking and once she started she didn't stop. This has been great and exhausting....especially being the beginning of my pregnancy. Thankfully her sleeping improved and I successfully introduced her to cow's milk which she likes (which made weening very easy).

13 Weeks

For those of you who don't already know I am pregnant, yay! I am 13 weeks and I feel like I am finally coming out of the depths of the horrible nauseated, exhausted nightmare, also known as the first trimester. Hopefully this means I can start functioning like a normal human being again (and maybe actually making a post or two here).
