2 Years Old!

It is hard to believe that two years ago this little girl came into my life because I really can't imagine my life without her. It has been so great watching her grow and right now is such a wonderfully fun age. Don't get me wrong there plenty of tantrums and misbehavior but all the joy she brings me everyday makes me forget all about those things. I know I say this every month but she has such a big personality. She is outgoing and will announce her entrance anywhere we go. She has no problem making friends and she remembers her friends and asks about them which is really cute. She has started acting out scenes from her favorite Backyardigans episodes (or Backys as she calls them) which is adorable, she pretends to cook and loves to have us taste her creations, and she loves to dance and will play music on her toys and dance around. Her other accomplishments include counting to ten, learning colors (kind of), singing Row Row Row Your Boat, and now thanks to a ABC floor mat she is learning her letters. She still is not a very adventurous eater but she is slowly getting better. The past couple of months we have been battling her 2 year old molars which have proved to be the worst of all the teeth to come through. So far we have 3 out and I am just waiting on the last one which judging by my 2 am wake call I have a feeling may have been working its way out last night ( I really hope we are done soon).

According to an old wives tale if you measure your child on their 2nd birthday and double their height that is what they will grow to. If this is true Casey will reach 5 foot 8 1/2 inches but I can't help but wish she will stay little forever. I love you little Caseykins!
