7 Months Old

Casey turned 7 months old yesterday, she is growing up so fast. She has become quite the active baby...as if she wasn't already...but yes she is mobile now. Although she has still not quite figured out how to crawl she is very close getting up on her knees and rocking. As of today she only knows reverse but I feel like like is going to change any minute. However even without crawling she is able to scoot, roll, and drag herself all over the place which make baby proofing top on my to do list now. Casey's hand-eye coordination is also becoming very strong and along with that she loves new toys, any new toy I introduce she loves even older toys she showed no interest in previously...but her Pooh book is still her favorite. She puts everything in her mouth and has recently shown great interest in cold things which make me wonder if she is teething. We have started to develop a little more of a schedule for sleeping which has been very difficult...lots of tears shed by both Casey and me but I think it is paying off. And I can finally see some of me in her instead of all Paul.

We bought her a jumper since she was growing tired of her swing (gasp the horror) and she loves it.

And in addition to trying to crawl she figure out how to get into sit position all by herself...maybe this will help her sitting skills improve as she is still very unstable.

She is getting better with her baby food, we have introduced more things this past month and her favorite so far has been pears. We have also introduced a sippy cup with water which she doesn't quite understand but she is having fun with it.

I can already tell 7 months is going to be a lot of fun.
